The annual subscription of £495 for this beautiful nine-hole course is one of the lowest in the region and is due on March 1, 2010. But you can become a member immediately if you pay an additional £50 which will carry you through until the end of February 2011 – in other words three months’ golf as cheap as chip-ins!
Less than three years after opening, the Withnell course with its USGA standard greens has attracted glowing reports from some of the game’s top administrators including Walker Cup legend Peter McEvoy and PGA chief executive Sandy Jones.
The introduction of a further nine tees not only afford a different perspective when played as an 18-hole course but offer a fairer test for ladies and juniors.
The Club is also junior friendly with a special subscription of only £50.
An extension to the well-appointed clubhouse is due to open in the spring, accommodating changing rooms complete with lockers and a spacious professional’s shop stocking all top brands.
