Official Course Rules
1. Immovable Obstructions (Rule 24-2)
(a) If any tree which is staked interferes with player's stance or swing, the ball may be lifted a club length from the nearest point of relief, without penalty, not nearer the hole.
(b) All fixed sprinkler heads are immovable obstructions and relief from interference by them may be obtained under rule 24-2.
2. Out of Bounds (Rule 27)
Beyond all boundary hedges and fences, also the car park, front, side and back of the Clubhouse, also to the left of the seventh tee, fairway and green, marked by white stakes.
3. Water Hazards (Rule 26-1)
(a) Water hazards are identified by yellow posts.
(b) Lateral water hazards are identified by red posts.
4. Road & Paths (Rule 24-2)
Artificially surfaced roads and paths are immovable obstructions from which relief may be taken.
5. Practice Putting Green
This is an integral part of the course. (Rule 25-3 applies)
6. Course Etiquette
(a) Please respect our course & observe the rules of golf. Please replace and repair your own divot, pitch and spike marks. Please exit all bunkers from their own most level point, tidying holes and footprints when you leave.
At all times avoid damaging steep bunker faces.
(b) Please refrain from practicing on Tees.
(c) Please lift and place from any workings or un-established areas marked G.U.R.
7. Pick & Place
The pick and place rule applies on all fairways.
Penalty for Breach of Local Rule
Match Play – Loss of Hole, Stroke Play – Two Strokes.
PLEASE NOTE:
- The 150 Yard markers are from the front of the green.
- All trolleys and buggies must not be taken onto the greens or surrounds under any circumstances.
